I charged this CoolHill portable fan all day until it reached 100%. I used it for exactly 2 minutes, and the battery dropped all the way down to 61%. Seeing almost 40% disappear after just 2 minutes of use is honestly ridiculous, especially for a fan at this price point.
Also, I noticed that the battery drains even when I’m not using the fan. Once I unplug it from the charging cable and leave it sitting unused, the battery percentage still goes down on its own.
In comparison, I have a regular fan that cost me around and I can use it for over 20 minutes while the battery only drops by 1%. That's why this was so shocking to me. I expected much better battery performance from a fan that costs significantly more.
Yes, this fan is stronger than my regular fan, but I don't really see that as a huge advantage because it's also much louder. My regular fan still has enough power to feel nice and cooling on my face, and it's much quieter. The CoolHill fan may have stronger airflow, but the difference isn't enough to make up for the noise and the terrible battery life.
I haven't tested it outside in hot weather yet, so I can't say whether it performs better in the heat or if the stronger airflow makes a noticeable difference. I'll update my review once I do. But based on my experience so far, I'm really disappointed.

Update: I used this fan in my hot car thinking it would blow cold air at me, but I was completely wrong. It doesn’t actually cool the air it only circulates the air around it. So if you’re in a very hot environment, it will blow hot air at you. If the surrounding air is warm/cool, then it will feel cool. In my hot car, it just blew hot air directly at me and didn’t provide any real cooling.
